Wu Ji Quan International is proud to announce the Wu Ji Quan Mountain Retreat in Malaysia — the homeland of Grandmaster Chee Kim Thong and the living source of the Wu Ji Quan lineage. This four-day immersive retreat is a unique opportunity to return to the roots of this extraordinary art, in the very country where it was born and where it continues to live.
Under the direction of Sifu Dr. Ortwin Lüers, this retreat is open to beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Whether you are discovering Wu Ji Quan for the first time or deepening an existing practice, you will find a programme that meets you where you are and carries you further. The central focus will be the Yin and Yang fundamental forms, with special emphasis on the Yang Form — an essential foundation for all further development in the Wu Ji Quan system. Alongside solo practice, the retreat includes partner work through Picking and Pushing Hands, as well as guided meditation and Qi cultivation in a natural mountain setting.
Sifu Dr. Ortwin is joined by local assistants Sifu Brandon Tong, Sifu Jimmy Chuah and Sifu Jason Chan — a gathering of the international Wu Ji Quan community in one of its spiritual heartlands. We look forward to sharing this special journey with you.
