The second Wu Ji Quan Foundation Seminar in Poland takes the practice and teachings of Grandmaster Chee Kim Thong to a new level of precision and depth. Participants who attended the first seminar will find their foundations illuminated from new angles – and those joining for the first time will receive a complete, rich, and immediately accessible introduction to the art.
Three days of focused, living transmission with Dr. Ortwin Lüers and Chief Assistant Trainer Heike Stammwitz embedded in the Wu Ji Dao Training concept for making memorisation of forms easy, filling them with beauty, efficacy, and power.
What You Will Explore
• The continuation of the Wu Ji little helpers: applications for healing and for gentle martial expression.
• The course is mainly focusing on the Yang character of Wu Ji Quan: its characteristics and form will be discovered featuring directed intention (Yi), structure, alignment, and first foundations in living gentle martial expression and experiences in flowing applications.
• Five Elements in the hands: identifying and embodying Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, and Metal in form and partner work.
• Wu Ji Pocket Form: picking up and directing Qi as a living test of quality and depth, integrating the Yang aspect to facilitate the learning process.
• Song – deep Yin sinking and internal relaxation: fascial energisation and the securing of the Yang form and its up rising and floating qualities.
• WU JI BA GUA foundations of Wu Ji Quan footwork: the Eight Kuas in the skeleton, the body structure and as living movement principles.
• Ba Gua in Wu Ji and it’s expression as Gong Fu style: spiralling movement, continuous change, redirection of force.
• First wind of the Wind Form: a first introduction to an understanding of its energetic meaning in relation its effects on the body.
• Discovery of simple universal internal basics of the Wu Ji Ba Gua principles in Wu Ji Quan in comparison with Aikido and Jiu Jitsu.
• Partner exercises and Wu Ji Picking throughout to test, feel, and verify every theme.
